Sunshine Vista Terms & Conditions – Frequently Asked Questions

Our Terms and Conditions:
All reservations made at Sunshine Vista are made subject to these Terms and Conditions. Payment of deposit or acceptance of keys will be deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions on behalf of all persons who will be staying, or using the facilities. You agree that you and all guests will abide by all Sunshine Vista bylaws and rules of the complex, these terms and conditions,  the ARAMA Conditions of Booking, and the Noosa Council Code of Conduct, or you will vacate the premises. There are no refunds for early departures.

What is your booking and cancellation policy?
All booking at Sunshine Vista are subject to our cancellation policy:

A deposit of $200.00 or 25% of the booking is required during regular seasons, a $500.00 or 25% of the booking is required for peak seasons. For Peak and mid season bookings; full payment is due 28 days prior to your scheduled day of arrival. We accept Visa and Mastercard.

A booking may be cancelled or modified until 28 days prior to arrival. A booking fee of $50.00 or 25% of the deposit paid will be charged on the cancellation of any booking.

A standard season booking cancelled or modified within 28 days of arrival: the deposit will be forfeited unless the apartment is re-let for the entire booking period.

A peak or mid season booking cancelled or modified within 28 days of arrival : you will be required to pay the full amount of your accommodation charges unless the apartment is re-let for the entire booking period.

If you do not show up for your booking or terminate your booking early after you have checked in you will be required to pay the full amount of your accommodation charges unless the apartment is re-let for the booking period .

Any cancellation fees payable by you will be deducted from any monies paid and if insufficient funds are available, we may charge the credit card details you provided at the time of making your booking.

If you are issued with a Booking Credit, the credit will be valid for twelve months from the day the booking is cancelled.

What’s the fine print?

Arrival: Check-in/arrival time is from 2:00PM. We may allow guests to arrive earlier and park or store any luggage until the apartment is ready. Departing guest will vacate the apartment by 10AM unless otherwise arranged with the management. A late check-out fee of $25 may be charged for the first hour or part thereof, past check out time. Thereafter, an extra night’s charge may apply. You may be asked to provide photographic identification and your credit card. This ID may be copied and securely stored as record that we have verified who you are and your authority to use your credit card. Minimum check-in age is 18.

Payment: Guests agree to pay the balance the day of arrival or as otherwise stated in these T&Cs and we will debit your card for a contactless payment. A credit card is required for a pre-authorized $200 security deposit. This authorization may be used to cover incidental items including but not limited to telephone charges, security bond or payment for any breakages, damage incurred, key & remote loss, or cleaning charges in excess of the normal level of cleaning. You may alternatively provide a cash deposit of $200 on check in.

Keys: Your keys can be collected in person from the key safe as noted in your confirmation letter. An SMS will be sent to to notify you when the property is ready and the key safe code. It is the responsibility of the guest to make arrangements with our office for alternative key collection outside of business hours. Lost keys will incur a $50 replacement fee. Lost remotes will incur a $100 replacement fee. After hours lockouts may incur a $50 fee.

Unavailability: If a property becomes unavailable for any reason, Sunshine Vista reserves the right to move the guests to alternative accommodation if available. Decisions of the owners of a unit regarding: sale of the property, maintenance, cancellations of letting agreements, or other acts, may affect this booking are outside our control and Sunshine Vista will not be held responsible. In the event of a property becomes unavailable, every effort will be made to find alternative accommodation. If this is not possible the deposit will be refunded in full. Where the property owner cancels the booking all deposits will be fully refunded.

Errors: No responsibility is accepted for  any error or omissions  on this website, third party site,  tariff sheet, or verbal misquote.

Tariffs are for 4 guests in our two bedroom apartments. Maximum occupancy is strictly 5 persons per apartment at Sunshine Vista. One additional person will be charged $45 per night for the use of a roll away bed and linen or one cot may be hired for a fee. Please inquire at reception if you have any questions.

All apartments are self service/self catered. Guests are responsible for the removal of their own rubbish daily and at checkout. Dishes may be placed in the dishwasher and started on departure. Apartments are to be left in a tidy state or additional cleaning fees, including but not limited to: carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, dish washing, rubbish removal may apply.

1 car park space per apartment, garage height 2.1m.

No smoking is allowed in the apartments or outside the designated smoking area.

Sunshine Vista has a strict: No Parties, No Functions, No Schoolies, No Pets policy.

Quiet hours apply between 10 pm and 8 am.

We reserve the right to evict guests should the following events occur: Any incident for which the police need to be called onto the premises. Any physical or verbal assault or abuse towards staff, residents, or other guests. Ignoring management’s advice to reduce excessive noise. Occupancy of the apartment exceeding the capacity allowed. Smoking within the apartment (additional cleaning fees will apply). Failure to follow the complex rules, by-laws, Noosa Code of Conduct for Guests Behaviour, and all terms and conditions of booking.

Frequently Asked Questions about Our Location

Does all your accommodation have Ocean views?
Our top floor apartments all have ocean views. Mid-level apartments have partial ocean views. Our garden level apartments have views of the tropical gardens, some with ocean glimpses. You will enjoy the sound the surf from all levels.

What do we do if we will be arriving late?
If you will be arriving outside office hours, 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 12:00 pm Saturday and Sunday, please contact Reception to make arrangements to collect your keys from the key safe and make payment.

Are your apartments serviced?
Sunshine Vista is self catered and self serviced accommodation. A complementary starter pack of toiletries and supplies are provided on arrival. For stays longer than 8 days, a service is provided mid stay or every 7 days. If required, additional service can be arranged for a fee.

How far are you from the beach?
Sunshine Vista is only a short 200 meter walk to the beach access and Surf Club. Sunshine Beach is patrolled 365 days a year.

Located at the Northern end of a 9 km pristine golden sandy beach makes Sunshine Beach the ideal holiday destination for surfing, swimming or simply relaxing in the sun. At Sunshine Vista everything you need for a great holiday is at your doorstep.

What’s there to do in Sunshine Beach?
Simply cross the street from Sunshine Vista to Sunshine Beach’s shops, cafes, and restaurants. Relax with an award winning coffee or enjoy a leisurely brunch on the deck. Sunshine Beach Surf Club was recently voted the 4th best beer garden in Queensland. Want more action? It’s a 5 minute drive to Noosa’s Hastings Street and Main Beach or you can hop on the local bus. There are 5 area golf courses, the Noosa Sports Complex with Aquatic Centre and Noosa Tennis Club are only minutes away. Sunrise, Marcus, and Peregian Beaches are all close by. Our tour desk can assist you with various area attractions from Australia Zoo to Fraser Island and everything in between.

How far is Noosa National Park?
The Headlands section of Noosa National Park is located at the north end of Sunshine Beach. There is access from the beach or from Parkedge Road, parking is limited. You can walk to Noosa in 2-3 hours. Other walking tracks vary from 30 minutes to 3+ hours depending on your abilities.

What is the weather like?
We have a warm and inviting climate with average summer temperatures of 28C and in winter 21C, supporting the laid-back village atmosphere of Sunshine Beach and making it the perfect holiday destination for those looking for either a short break to rest and revive, or a well deserved family holiday

How do we get there?
Sunshine Beach is located approximately 90 minutes drive north of Brisbane International and Domestic Airports. Maroochydore Airport on the Sunshine Coast is an easy 30 minute drive to Sunshine Beach. Coach and Limousine services are available from both airports and we are happy to arrange transportation services or hire-cars upon request.

Frequently Asked Questions about Our Facilities

Do you have internet access?
Yes, we have guest Wi-Fi in all our apartments and offer a complementary daily free quota of 10 Gb. Up to 10 devices may be connected. If you require more data, reasonably priced plans are available. Most smart TVs at Sunshine Vista are NOT connected to the internet at this time. Many guests bring their own hotspot. Sunshine Vista will not be held responsible for any interruption of internet connection or Wi-Fi.

Do you have a lift?
Yes, there is a lift to all floors from the secure car park.

Is your pool heated?
The pool and spa are heated from 27-29 C year round. Pool hours are 8 am – 9 pm daily.

Are pets allowed at Sunshine Vista?
Unfortunately pets are not allowed in any of our apartments.

NOOSA CODE OF CONDUCT FOR GUEST BEHAVIOUR
1. Each vehicle used by an occupant of the premises must—
(A) be stored in a manner that does not cause a nuisance or inconvenience to adjoining premises; and
(B) be parked within the parking facilities at the premises;
2. Each occupant of the premises who enters, uses or occupies the premises, including any outdoor area of the premises, for example, an outdoor entertainment area, deck, balcony, swimming pool or spa, must not—
(A) detrimentally affect the residential amenity (including but not limited to noise, overlooking or light spill) enjoyed by residents adjoining, or in the vicinity of, the premises; or
(B) cause a nuisance (including a noise nuisance); or
(C) display unacceptable behavior, for example—
 loud aggressive behaviour;
 yelling, screaming, arguing;
 excessively loud cheering, clapping or singing; or
(D) create a level of noise which is in excess of the acceptable levels described by Queensland Government legislation for environmental protection (noise).
3. An occupant of the premises must not sleep or camp on the premises in a tent, caravan, campervan or similar facility;
 Each occupant of the premises must store general waste (including the separation of recyclable waste) produced as a result of the ordinary use or occupation of the premises in a waste container;
Each occupant of the premises must ensure that the premises, including the grounds of the premises, are kept in a safe and tidy condition.

ARAMA Conditions of Bookings
Please read these conditions carefully. Each person signing these conditions (“the Guest”) acknowledges and agrees that these conditions apply and extend to any person (also referred to as “Guest”) occupying or visiting the apartment or complex and/or using the facilities in the complex at the invitation of or with the authority of the Guest.

  1. Charges must be paid by cash, bank cheque or credit card before occupancy commences unless special prior arrangements have been made. If payment is made by cheque, receipt is issued subject to such cheque being cleared.
  2. Occupancy starts and finishes on the dates shown on the receipt.
  3. The Guest will be liable for payment of any charges incurred by any Guest together with all replacements and necessary costs for any damage or loss to the apartment and its contents or the Body Corporate property caused by any Guest.
  4. The apartment must not be used for any unlawful purpose.
  5. Guests must only park cars in the designated areas.
  6. Only the number of people shown on the receipt may stay in the apartment overnight.
  7. No animals or pets are to be brought onto the complex.
  8. Neither the Body Corporate, the Manager nor the apartment owner is liable for any damage or loss of property which a Guest may sustain while on the complex.
  9. The by-laws, rules and regulations of the complex and any reasonable direction of the Manager must be complied with. The apartment must be vacated if after receiving a warning, any Guest fails to comply.
  10. There is no refund for early departure.
  11. The Manager may inspect the apartment at any time with reasonable notice and at any time without notice if the Manager is of the opinion that there has been a breach of these conditions.
  12. The Manager and the apartment owner are not responsible for any misdescription of the apartment.
  13. In the event of the Guest desiring to cancel the booking, a refund of the deposit, less an administrative fee, will only be made if more than 28 days notice is given in high season or 14 days notice at other times.
  14. The Guest authorises the manager to charge any credit card for any loss, damage or monetary contribution for which any Guest is liable under this document or otherwise.
  15. If the occupancy ends or is terminated, the Guest must immediately vacate the apartment. The Manager is authorised to do whatever is required to enforce the eviction of any Guest and removal of Guests property.

Complaints should be lodged in accordance with the relevant building’s documented procedure.
